300010

This project is not strictly related to graphic design. However, I decided to insert it to highlight that my interests are not limited to the area of graphic design. The steel frame (which you can see on the left) was exhibited in the museum of modern art in Cagliari.

To realise this collection of fashion (which you can see here - the creative process of an outfit) I started from a sculpture from "Francesco Ciusa" entitled "The Passion" and which is also found in the modern art gallery. I created 2 Moodboards. I then designed the outfit and finally made the top half of it from steel.

At the bottom you can find the rest of the outfits I designed for the collection.

The idea behind this outfit was: "to protect the woman with an armour of steel and to protect her from the pain of losing a son. I used steel as it symbolises, a woman becoming cold and hard inside as she becomes aware of the world in which she lives."

300010 (Three thousand and ten) is the name I decided to give to the collection. My intention was to design a collection that represented a woman of the future: Strong, Safe and Dynamic.
